Grief Facilitator Training

Grief Facilitator Training is a two-day, immersive educational experience designed for individuals who want to lead grief support groups with competence, care and confidence. A prerequisite for volunteering with Collective for Hope, this training also equips professionals, educators and community members to offer grief-informed support through facilitated group sessions. Participants gain a deeper understanding of grief across the lifespan, exploring adult and childhood bereavement, family coping and the foundations of emotional resilience. Trainees leave prepared to hold space for others through grief companionship, not clinical intervention. Whether facilitating peer groups through Collective for Hope or applying their skills in other settings, trainees emerge with practical tools, personal insight and a commitment to ensuring no one has to grieve alone.
