19th Annual Comfort Food Classic
Since 2007, the Comfort Food Classic has been our primary fundraising event. Each year, over 300 gather to enjoy themed comfort dishes prepared by local chefs, while supporting grief support programs that ensure no one has to grieve alone.
In 2026, CFH will mark a milestone year, celebrating 25 years of service AND the opening of Omaha’s first-ever grief center! This historic occasion invites our community to come together in reflection, gratitude, and anticipation of a more grief-affirming future.
Join us on this momentous occasion to celebrate the work and honor grief together under the theme of Moonlight & Mimosas.

We’re inviting Omaha’s top chefs to bring their talent and heart to the table for a cause that matters. Showcase your signature comfort brunch dish and compete for the title of 2026 Comfort Food Champion, all while supporting our mission of honoring grief together.
