2011-2015

This period marked continued expansion in staff, services and outreach. The organization doubled its staff size and extended programming to underserved communities in North and South Omaha, including bilingual support groups. Leadership transitions facilitated growth in rural and urban outreach. A new program was introduced for families grieving serious illness or injury. Ted E. Bear Hollow also achieved significant fundraising milestones, including a record-setting campaign with Mustaches for Kids Omaha. The first Grief Awareness Conference was held, strengthening the organization’s role as a community leader in grief support.
