2006-2010

Ted E. Bear Hollow significantly expanded its outreach and programming. Key initiatives included the introduction of grief resource backpacks in partnership with the Omaha Public Library, the launch of the Comfort Food Classic fundraiser and the establishment of Camp Hope for grieving teens. The organization moved to Midtown Omaha, transitioned to offering year-round support groups and introduced programming for young adults and grieving adults. A generous building agreement with Children’s Hospital & Medical Center provided a new, long-term facility and a major fundraising campaign enabled renovations and program growth.
