The State of Grief in our Community
Help shape the Collective for Hope’s inaugural Annual State of Grief Report by sharing your experience and contributing to a more grief-affirming community.
Grief is a universal experience, yet it is often misunderstood, unseen, or unsupported.
At Collective for Hope, we are working to change that by listening directly to our community.
The Annual State of Grief Report (ASGR) is a community-informed initiative designed to better understand how grief is experienced, supported, and navigated across Omaha and beyond. Through this effort, we aim to illuminate real experiences of loss, identify gaps in access and support, and strengthen the way individuals, families, and organizations respond to grief.
This work begins with you.
By sharing your experience through our survey, you are helping build a collective understanding of grief that will inform future programming, expand access to care, and guide community-wide conversations about how we show up for one another in times of loss.
Your voice is an essential part of this story—and a meaningful contribution to a more compassionate, grief-informed future.
Share Your Experience | Take the Survey!
We invite you to participate in our Community Grief Survey.
This anonymous survey takes approximately 5–10 minutes to complete and will help inform the findings of the Annual State of Grief Report.
Your responses will contribute to a deeper understanding of grief in our community and help ensure that support remains accessible, responsive, and rooted in real experiences.
Because this survey explores grief and bereavement, some questions may bring up emotions. Please take care of yourself as you participate.
