Collective for Hope: Our New Brand

Collective for Hope is proud to introduce our new brand and website.

Our new brand is the result of extended research and strategic sessions that reflect the perspectives of our many stakeholders, including our own team, clients, partners and board members. We conducted surveys and interviews with a diverse group to learn more about our community’s needs and what they expect from us. We are thankful to everyone who provided input and are excited that this new brand resonates with our community and the work we do.

The Icon

Stemming from the image of a luminary that serves as a guiding light, our new logo reflects light, compassion and hope. The abstract design can be seen as both a flame and a teardrop, symbolizing the duality of grief. It reflects our commitment to guiding people who have experienced a profound loss while honoring each person’s grief journey. This icon embodies the hope that can be found through our accessible programs. By safeguarding each person’s autonomy in their loss journey, we provide comfort, warmth and the potential for healing.

Brand Colors

The blend of colors mirrors the diverse emotions experienced in grief as well as the people we serve. It illustrates our dedication to embracing the complexities of loss while celebrating resilience. The overlapping layers within the design illustrate the human connection that we want to inspire among bereaved people as well as the depth of our programs. We want this to highlight our comprehensive approach to supporting people in their healing journey while providing educational opportunities to build a grief-affirming community for all.

Typography

Our organizational name is bold and contrasts with the softness of the colors and icon to mirror our expertise and experience as a leader in grief support. “Hope” is amplified in size to represent our vision of a world where grief is normalized through empathy, love and hope.

A New Chapter

As we open a new chapter for our organization, we hope our new brand and website reflect our deep commitment to cultivating a grief-affirming community—one built on companionship and understanding—so that every person feels seen, valued, and embraced as they navigate loss.
